Over 1 GW of distributed energy projects operating, under construction, and in development across Illinois
Each project connects subscribers to guaranteed electricity savings of at least 10%, with no upfront cost
Demand for electricity is surging across Illinois—and so are power prices.
Rising capacity costs are pushing rates higher for households and businesses. Statewide, industrial growth is straining both generation and transmission infrastructure. But new utility-scale projects are still years away from delivering power. The result is a near-term supply gap.
State legislators are responding with landmark policies like the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act—directing investment toward distributed energy projects like ours.

As one of the largest players in Illinois’ nationally leading distributed energy market, Dimension is working to expand access to affordable, reliable clean power. Our projects put underutilized land and infrastructure to work across Illinois, from industrial warehouse rooftops in greater Chicago to underperforming farmland in central and southern regions, and brownfield sites with limited redevelopment potential.
We are helping deliver on Illinois' clean energy and equity commitments by prioritizing collaboration with equity-eligible contractors and investing in workforce development to ensure the benefits of the clean energy transition are broadly shared. By partnering with community colleges, nonprofits, and municipalities, we create training pathways into clean energy careers, deliver meaningful subscriber savings for households and businesses, and generate long-term lease revenue for Illinois landowners.
